Hmmm…… What to say about me – Annie Dunn?

I suppose I could start with my marital status or where I live etc. but don’t worry you haven’t clicked onto a dating website. So instead, I’m going to give you the confidence that we here at Tall Order Promotions know what we are doing and that we can help and advise you on how to promote your company or brand.

My name is Annie Dunn and I’ve worked in the Promotional Gift sector for over 25 years. For the last 10 years, I’ve been running my own business: Tall Order Promotions.

Whether it be a promotional gift, corporate clothing, a calendar or a diary, our main aim is to make sure your company is – visible! – seen! – remembered!  and that you are NOT wasting your money.

I’ve built my business by providing competitive prices coupled with excellent customer service.  I make sure that I have strong working relationships with trusted trade suppliers so that I can offer the best possible advice and turnaround times for my clients. They tell me they value my honesty and my straightforward approach.

West Midlands

I was born and bred in the West Midlands and am proud of it! I’m an enthusiast and this plays large part in my approach to both my business and my personal life. I work hard and I play hard!

Back in the 80’s I started working for a calendar Manufacturer in the West Midlands, who also supplied diaries and promotional merchandise.  I Loved It!!  Meeting everyone from a mobile mechanic to a whole board of directors who wanted a full-blown presentation and then everything in between.

I had a couple of changes over the years but always came back to the promotional gift industry – When I ask myself why, I think it’s because it’s always changing; yes, there will always be the personalised pen and mug but as technology changes so does the industry. So now I Love It – EVEN MORE!

You Only Live Once

The best part of my business is meeting lots of different people. I love it! I’m most definitely a people person. If I can help someone out, then I will – whenever I can.

Back in 2004 I decided to go it alone and Tall Order Promotions was born and now with the help of some of my family who work with me, I’m proud to say we are a family run business.

Approximately 10 years ago some of our customers asked us to supply their clothing and workwear, I  am so pleased I listened to them because they were absolutely right, personalised clothing  works perfectly with what we are trying to say – Be remembered!

I do take my work very seriously and pride myself on being professional when I need to be but I’m relaxed when I can be.  I love a good laugh because I genuinely believe in YOLO (You Only Live Once).

Becky Allen

Becky joined the team in 2014 and has quickly progressed to running the office side of the business.  When you ring the office, Becky is most likely to be the person trying to help you.


Sue Smith

Sue joined me in 2012 on a part-time basis.  Coming from a background in IT and systems, Sue worked with me to develop the back office systems allowing the business to grow and be ready for future challenges.  She now keeps a close eye on how we follow procedures as well as helping out Becky when needed.
