6 things to consider when designing your corporate branding for promotional purposes

  1. Number of colours – the more colours you use the more expensive your promotional items will be.
  2. Simplicity – What looks amazing on a computer screen may not transfer so well to a pen.
  3. Limited space – Too much information can distract from the final look.
  4. Transferable – Will your logo work on embroidered on your corporate clothing or promotional items.
  5. Artwork – if you are using a graphic artist outside your company make sure you get the artwork in all formats (.jpg, .eps, etc etc)
  6. Fine Detail – very small font sizes can be lost (i.e. fill in) when printing on a  limited print area often available on promotional items.
